In the context of this symposium, 3e impérial’s general and artistic director Danyèle Alain will participate in the round table discussion “Enjeux des pratiques artistiques interdisciplinaires qui opèrent à même le réel”. This round table will be held on May 25 at 10am. publication > CHAMPS D'INTÉRÊT : infiltrer, habiter, spéculer [III] The publication Champs d'intérêt : infiltrer, habiter, spéculer [III] presents the processes at work within different infiltration-based art practices (art infiltrant), as seen by authors Julie Boivin and Julie Bélisle.   From Thinking to Acting Out - Julie Bélisle situates an approach to the praxis of the artist's residency where “a moment of extreme receptivity in which the inhabited world is seen anew” is brought to the fore. She explores the understructure of this practice through a critical survey of art infiltrant works by Guy Blackburn, Ève Cadieux, Éric Cardinal, Josée Dubeau, Alain Fleurent. The Ontology of Territory - Julie Boivin systematically examines the projects realized by 3e impérial since 1997. She imagines an extensive, complex map, marked by the quest for specificities of human and territorial identity; her meticulous endeavour of decoding and observation traces out the temporal reach of artistic action and of its rootedness in the territory.
